The screen stopped registering touch inputs suddenly without warning, but it's still responsive with the physical buttons. Beware of Xiaomi phones, never gonna buy another one from them ever again.
Cubot advertises cell phones as being resistant but they are more fragile than some so-called normal phones. A small drop from your pocket on a walk and the display breaks, for which they do not give a guarantee although they sell it as unbreakable and extremely resistant. Asking for replacement of almost 75% of the value of the new equipment.
I had this phone for a few years and it was going well for me, its IPS screen looks good, plus its 144hz makes the experience smooth except that it has the nits to see in the sun, even so its Snapdragon 865 is good for everything you put it on top of it, in addition to its 8gb of ram plus 256gb rom, its battery does not fail, more than a day without problems but after a while the battery lasts much less, the cameras are good but not at the level of high ranges of its time .
It is a phone with great performance for its price, it cost $180 and I don't regret it, it is worth it if you want a good and cheap phone
Previously I had the Redmi 9 and the MIUI 13 layer on the Redmi 9 was much superior and with many more options than I don't have on the Redmi 12 with HyperOS which disappointed me because the menu, control panel, etc. is the same as a Redmi 12C, the horn, microphone, and light sensor are also inferior to that of the Redmi 9. The camera is a little superior and like the one I bought is 8/256GB, I do notice superior multitasking.
The phone fulfills its function, it is beautiful, it runs all the games, it has a good camera, but the battery is what bothers me because it does not last as long as I expected. For long trips, it is better to have a power bank.
Everything about the phone is great same for the chipset but it's the throttling that holds it back genshin starts at avg 55fps but drops to 40 after a while phone gets real hot i bought a phone cooler just to solve this issue and it's now more stable
The phone only needs storage but the rest flies. I haven't received updates for a couple of years or so, but the system is stable, it doesn't have any bugs or problems (nor has it ever had one) and after four and a half years I'm still using it, although I'm looking for a replacement, because its drums (which were never their strong point) are reaching their last point. Despite receiving a lot of criticism for its selfie camera, the truth is that I have never had a fault with it, to the point that I like it and I will miss it on my next phone.
I bought this phone 4 years and 6 months ago and it has worked fine for me all this time. Since the end of last year I started having problems with the overall performance (I liked it with MIUI 11 and Android 9 as it was fully functional that way, but with the MIUI 12.5 and Android 11 update it suffered from decreased performance for day to day activities). Also, since the battery is original, it has drained to 75% of its original capacity. Another thing is that the fingerprint reader doesn't seem to work properly, as lately the device can be unlocked using anything other than the installed fingerprints. It still works great and can be used, but I think it's time for a change.
It is a good phone in many aspects, both the screen level and its processor, which has never stuck compared to some other models I have had. The only detail is the fragility of the screen since lines began to appear on my phone, I don't know if it is due to overheating or impact, but other than that, an excellent cell phone for daily use, very reliable
the camera is excellent, very good, capable of taking photos in high resolution at 25 MP, and it runs free fire on Ultra!
