  • Some serious quality issues aside, it's a handsome brute

I have the AGM 2 XE and it is a handsome, durable phone with a lot of power and a passable camera (in daylight at least). I would rate this device very high if it didn't have some downright game-breaking quality issues. From the moment I opened the box and inserted a brand new 128 MB memory card, the AGM X2 SE keeps ejecting it every 10 minutes. I have tried other memory cards too and nothing - keeps ejecting them like fighter pilot in Harrier jump-jet that's about to hit the ground. It's really REALLY annoying. But not as annoying as the other major bug...
Often when using headphones the phone suddenly turns all the system volumes down to almost inaudible (including alarms, ringtones, loudspeaker - everything) and there's NOTHING you can do to change it back. Removing headphones doesn't help. Pressing volume button doesn't help (display shows the volume to be at max). All you can do is play music on your loudspeaker until something click and normal sound returns. It can take days.

  • Very overpriced phone with practically zero OS support

Expensive phone with practically zero OS support and buggy ROM, and has a glass back. It is a "very" rugged phone with a breakable glass back. It is stupid. It has compatibility problems, Firefox is not running on it. The hybrid SIM is annoying, I need 2 SIM + SD card slot. It could be a great phone, but it is NOT.

The Porsche among the outdoor phones

This is AGM X2 is extraordinarily well-made, shock and scratch solid. The back is a weak spot if it comes up suboptimal. That's design is a matter of taste, I like it to a high degree. The camera makes good pictures but slight weakness in the dark. The phone has a good performance that makes even demanding games play well.

Disappointed, I end up with an unbreakable phone that is broken

The back window is broken in my pocket at work (very fragile, it is not the case for the rest, its screen is the sides are very resistant). The problem is that I can not find spare parts !!! The unbreakable can become irreparable. The selfie camera is very powerful but I do not use it at work, I need a rear camera that is mediocre. Very good battery (2 days and more if affinity). Some network bug after the first update, but it is fixed with the second one. Otherwise very fluid.

    I am delighted

A terminal that surprised me. The pro: good image, good battery, goes fluid, good connectivity. The against :. The caps on the USB port and on the Jack connector, if you do not remove them, they bend and it is difficult for them to return to the initial position. And if they are not properly placed, water resistance is not supposed to work.

Ki Cost-effective
Score
Not available
What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
