- Nice phone with a good battery
The phone is good, battery life is what it knows the best, the touch screen seems a bit unresponsive, sometimes on fast taps it needs a second one to recognize it.

This was a cell phone I bought in the promotion at "Best Buy", I decided to buy this brand to see if it really was Good, but I regretted it bitterly. This cell phone besides having a tiny space (16GB), it also has the memory (2GB) having to always optimize! I don't have to complain about the battery, it really supplies all day and there's still more. However, the ZenUI system was constantly failing, the last time I had it it didn't work with bluetooth anymore, really a very disappointing system! It didn't even open up the developer options. Do not buy, do not recommend. In addition, the fingerprint sensor does not work properly, there were times when it caught on its own when no one had it in hand! Totally wrong and nothing safe !!
Pros- Battery

I had never met mediatek processors and now I can assure you they are PURE GARBAGE! After 2 years with this mobile, it has only given me problems. The updates always come defective until the case that before the battery with Android 6.0 lasted 2 and peak; Now according to what you do you do not arrive a day and a half. The 4,100 MHa is like 2,100 MHa.
Pros- Brightness in full sunlight
Cons- Improvable technical service

I have it almost 11 months ago, but the change was necessary. The last update was until Nougat 7.0 and it left me a lot to be desired, like the bugs regarding the performance with several applications, it heats up faster than in the first months, the optimization should be even bigger. Your camera app is not the best, it is quite late to take selfies and requires a better software that knows how to get the juice out of the main one. Despite that, the battery itself is durable and gives for the right, it would have been better if they let him upgrade to Oreo, he could improve on something.
Pros- 4000 mAh battery
- Size and feel to the touch
- Aluminum construction and shock resistant
Cons- Processor and OS
- Greater capacity for expansion
- PixelMaster App

View answers - AutoA GREAT MOBILE RUINED BY UPDATES
The Asus Zenfone 3 Max was a great terminal until a few months ago, the battery in intensive use lasted two days practically, had a fabulous performance (except in very powerful games, the mobile is what it is), had no random reboots or anything similar, but this changed when a few months ago ASUS introduced an update patch that dramatically reduced the performance and autonomy of the same, the battery went from last almost 2 days to last just half a day (in a matter of continuous battery referring to me to intensive use) and to constantly hang up and have restarts. In tests that I have made the device loses up to 9% battery in 32 minutes of video at 720p, the phone has "lagueos" in such everyday situations as opening an app or playing a YouTube video. In summary: I strongly recommend that if you buy this terminal, leave it in its factory version (Android 6.0) and do not update it to new versions.

Score
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
