    It's asus

With the excellent experience of the zenfone 5 (a501) I had the opportunity to have the zenfone 3, now with a much more optimized zenui, an excellent chipset, excellent cameras and a very beautiful designer. Its shortcomings were fragility to fall and battery.

    Performance excels after 5 years

The phone itself has a good performance in current applications, even in the most demanding games it is possible to have an acceptable performance, as for falls it is exceptional because when I accidentally throw it at a table, but it hits the wall, it doesn't crack, fell into the water and as incredible as it seemed it also survived, I used the rain because I felt like it and wanted to try it to see if it worked and as incredible as it seems I did not have a headset but the rest continues to work after 5 years, however the rear camera also died I took good pictures from routers passwords to landscapes but died with a lot of pity, but the front camera is amazing to take pictures of notebooks and pictures. As for the system, as I am curious and touched the source code, I corrupted the system, having to install lineage OS 16.0, but I do not regret it because it gave a new life to this armored battle tank that is stronger than the hammer of the tor. Only battery downside.

It could be my cell phone today

Look, it's ashamed that certain devices are launched with old ones as good as this one, it still gives a good broth, too bad the screen stopped for good, in fact it wasn't even my first ZenFone, before it I had the first generation ZenFone 5, the device is so absurd that it is borrowed and serving, of course the battery is the weak point, in the face of so much processing, a cell phone over 5 years old is admirable to run current apps. At its launch, the zenui was not so round, it had many bugs, drains the battery easily, I believe the advantage was the defect itself, Intel processing, two different architectures constantly fighting each other, which in ZenFone 3 was very well resolved, well fluid but still with dna zenui, battery drains very fast, but in general some excellent device, exceeded expectations. And a factor that causes controversy, I saw a lot of equipment that is said to be top in photography shame around it, if it had a slightly better lens aperture it would be the king.

Great phone from a great brand

I took this used phone, but surprised me, battery with 79% health and still doing 7 hours of intense screen in daily life, but in stand by drops to 4hrs (poor optimization). It's a good device for everyday life. I've always had a back foot with asus but that device made me change my mind. It has nothing to do with your troubled older brother (zenfone 2). The 625 processor is great, almost never warms, camera with the gcam apk gets too much show .. After oneplus 3, this is the second best device I've ever had .. Overall of course .. Congratulations asus for making this device mt well done !!!

    Good cell phone

The biggest problem is the battery because it does not reach the day, or sometimes or at noon, it is necessary to update it so that it improves a little. Also over time the battery degrades and for how small it is to degrade it does not give you even for half a day. The processor is acceptable for day to day, it is not for heavy video games.

Score

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
