- Good phone overall, just need some GCam
I had this phone as my daily driver for more than a year before I knew Redmi Note 8 Pro. Asus MPM1 has a very good battery life. Default camera isn't that good, selfies are pinkish. This has been resolved thru GCam which has excellent colors. This phone also has a dedicated microSD slot which I really like. I am also using the phone mainly for browsing and checking emails - I'm getting a day and a half of battery life.
I upgraded to Redmi Note 8 Pro after a year as Asus MPM1's screen is already looking old with it's thick top and bottom bezels, also the camera is just limited to 2. I gave this phone to my mom and she loves it much better than her previous Samsung J7 which has a very short battery life.Pros- Battery life
- Good camera if GCam installed
- Aluminum body, sturdy build
- Good performance
- Good audio (earphones)
- Dedicated Micro-SD slot
Cons- Not so good default camera
- Thick top and bottom bezels

Score
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
