  • A excellent phone for more basic stuff, and has the best camera software I've ever seen in a cellphone.

I bought it in june of 2017 and in the first year it was awesome. Great response, good camera quality, a battery that used to last up to 10 hours, all this at an excellent price. I used to play some demanding games like gta san Andreas, Modern Combat 4 and 5, and Mortal kombat. But as the time gone by, the cellphone just became riddiculous slow, and freezing all the time. also I never were able to use videocalls on facebook messenger, properly. It just couldn't handle.
But somehow you're able to switch between M4.5 OS and A4.5, and by personal experience I would recommend to keep it with the M4.5 OS for better performance.
In terms of durability it is more than good. It's not waterproof, but I've accidentally dropped it in a toilet (that was clean, btw) It was half merged into water but after a day drying it out, it was as good as new, with a litlle stain on the screen. I had a rubberish silicon cover for it and a platic screen protector so felt damage and scratches weren't a problem

    Pros
    • Excellent battery lenght
    • Durable, and pretty resisten to felt damage
    • The best camera on a budget phone you will find
    • plastic body made by recicled plastic
    • Good for people looking for a budget phone
    Cons
    • Awful ergonomic on its body, weird to hold and sometimes sore to your hands, if you have to use it with one hand for a very long time
    • 4.5 inch display, too small for today's Standards
    • Small display may be inconvenient when typing
    • Small screen resolution, specially on youtube
    • unsatisfying performance nowadays
    • fragile plastic body suggest the need for a cover

  • Decent, but terrible customer service

This morning my Aquaris A4.5 was updated to Android Nougat and now the PIN pattern does not unlock the phone anymore.

Worst of all: BQ customer service is non-existant, so I have to chase the community manager for them to pay attention to the customer who got screwed with this update.

Durable, functional, fluid and comfortable mobile

Android One is the best for a mobile, it keeps it fluid and functional. For my experience with this phone, if it slows down, it is undoubtedly because of installing apps with malware. The battery is not a wonder but it lasts a whole day without problem. The size is perfect: light, comfortable to use with one hand and it is fluid and manages to run any app without problem from racing games, virtual reality or augmented reality. It only slows down with extremely demanding games. I hope I do not ever have to change this phone.

    Pros
    • Android One clean and fluid
    • Comfortable and very practical size
    • Resistant to wear and accidents
    • Reasonable price
    Cons
    • Battery lasts only one day
    • Night photos not very good

Mobile low range you can not demand almost anything

It costs little, yields little. You can use it for whatsapp, calls and little else because over time and with use it slows down a lot. I bought it two years ago and then it was more or less fluid but now sometimes I can not even take a call of what it takes to unlock. It is uncomfortable in the hand, and is built in cheap looking plastic. The fatal camera, all the photos come out moved, and at night better not try to take photos. The screen does not even reach hd, although I must say that it has colors that stand out very much, it looks very colorful. The battery with a not very intense use lasts all day but very fair. I definitely do not recommend it.

    Quality very good price

I took it as it came out because I was recommended the brand, it is obvious that you will not go fluid in demanding games later than 1 year and a half, in the first year I was great considering the price

Of the worst I've ever had

I bought the phone because I wanted to change, and for the price I thought it was a good idea because I was told that this brand is good, and a month I saw that it was a bad idea, the ram is painful, it is not flowing nor to see the gallery, the Battery with the brightness to the minimum I do not arrive to the day, the port of charge broke and only loads with the cellphone off something that in technical service I have been told that they are not responsible, plastic materials of the bad one, it is scratched up with the fingernail , The camera paints very bad pictures and most blurred, the wifi arrives very little, having the router next does not catch all the lines, the size a little small but it is manageable, the good the internal memory, led notifications, screen And speaker, vamosq eu you do not buy it, is to waste money, there are Chinese cell phones less than 100 euros much better than this mobile and I say it from experience, I do not advise this phone to anyone

Score

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
