  • Dont buy it!

1st 6months everything was fine but now phone often turns off by itself with annoying screetching sound, especialy during phonecalls (almost impossible to have n a normal conversation). Connection is very bad as well, often no signal at all (and i live in city center).
I paid for it 55€, but it is not worth it, i'll have to buy another phone, cause this one is letting me down on a daily basis☹️.

  • Beautiful quality phone that's more than excellent in every department except the camera, considering the price.

It's a beautiful phone that is great value for money. Fast, smooth, good battery life, great screen & adequate sound qualit. The downside is it's poor camera but overall it's a superb phone.

  • really value for money

Very beautiful phone. Chosen because it is a cheap smartphone with android 9 pie and a high size screen and 3gb ram. screen is not full HD which is really good in terms of battery drain. CPU is quad cote which is also good for battery drain. Really worth the money.

  • It does not have all the functions of an android pie

It has a doogee overlay based on the android pie, but it does not feature navibar gestures, recent apps, energy saving. It is a copy of the oreo android with small visual changes. the camera application takes good pictures after the camera is properly set. The screen shows small scratches after a week of use, there is no case in the set. If Doogee gave me the functions that are in a normal android pie, I would recommend this phone, But I still recommend this phone because of the price.

    scam

it is useless, the touch is very, very bad and does not detect your finger well. I have had it for almost two years, the entire screen literally came off the phone because it was stuck with some glue in the corners. Basically you will only do well the first day because you will not realize how bad it is. For a little more money you buy a decent mobile that works for something. The battery is garbage, the touch screen is garbage, the fingerprint detector is another garbage, the storage is another similar garbage and the photos are another huge garbage that in two years that I had this mobile I could not take almost photos because practically all the photos come out. pixels.

    Disappointment

I have this phone for about 9 months, at first I found the battery life strange, I had to charge it in the middle of the day and another one at night when I went to sleep, the back camera is not of good quality, the product is sold with two rear cameras, but one is fake, typical of Chinese cell phones, the screen is large, but does not support HD videos, for example, I watch videos on YouTube only in 480p because it does not support other higher resolutions. Anyway, for the price I paid, I couldn't expect a super phone, but there are issues that even the most basic smartphones have and the Y8 doesn't have.

Ki Cost-effective
Score
Not available
What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
