- Best phone I've ever had. Still my daily phone Nov 2021. High bar for replacement.
Bought used off Amazon, still getting a day out of a battery. Bright crisp display, night photos are grainy but it's a 5yo phone so somewhat expected. Only reason I'm looking at replacement is no more updates. I got android 11 but eventually my bank will stop allowing access due to no updates.
Still, this phone is amazing, need a solid performer for daily tasks outside of banking? Need a great sounding phone for kids or aging parents with an all day battery, good wifi and LTE coverage that works just about everywhere? Get this phone. Want a travel phone and leave your $2000 daily driver at home? Get the pixel 2xl.Pros- Sound is very good, as good as Samsung high end tablet
- Battery life is still pretty good after 5 years
- Android 11
- Relatively easy to change the ROM - experimenters
- Cheap to find
- Rear fingerprint works well
Cons- Video calls kill battery swiftly
- Navigation kills battery swiftly
- Night pics aren't fantastic
- Dual-sim only works on T-Mobile

The design is nice but it can be made nicer with a skin. I used it for some time , battery life degraded really fast over the months that I used it. After all these months and updates it's still insanely smooth. It receives frequent updates and takes amazinf photos.

As I am huge fan of large phones (since enormous Lenovo Phab Plus), I tried my luck with Xiaomi MIX (very positive) but upgrade do MIX 2S was huge disapontment.
XL 2 got very smooth and quick response on anything I do. Albeit it is "raw" Android it looks more polished then other added interfaces on different phones.
This one is a keeper.Pros- Screen

- Support
Cons- Cannot switch soft buttons easy way.

In its day it was a groundbreaking and innovative mobile by putting almost the entire screen with those two front stereo speakers, but today there are better options than acquiring one like this. There are only two versions 64 or 128, with 64 you hardly get anything (at least for me), it gets very hot in games with a little graphics, the battery had a health of 93% and it did not last me even 1 day If you played a game, but not everything is going to be bad, it has a good screen with a fantastic resolution with good color nuances, Google always optimizes its operating systems well and you have more years of anticipated updates than most, although in this model it no longer have android 12, the sound was pretty good, and very light.

View answers - AutoThe phone is a marvel despite the weather
In my opinion, the equipment is still a high-end, it is thin, beautiful and minimalist, the battery is somewhat decent, it is not prepared for intensive use, the battery is like that since the phone has a very high resolution that unfortunately cannot be adjust to be able to improve the autonomy, if they added that the battery would be an 8.5 / 10, after that no complaints. PS: for the price in which the device is around you have a shrimp; beautiful pictures
Pros- Screen resolution
- Water and dust resistance
- Shock and scratch resistant
- good quality stereo speakers
Cons- Battery is not enough for some users

Score
- 6.4 Design & Materials
- 5.7 Performance & Hardware
- 6.7 Camera
- 7.3 Connectivity
- 4.9 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
