  • very nice phone with weak battery

    Pros
    • everyday performance, as it is for Q845 at 2022
    • best rear camera you can afford for its price
    • FHD OLED screen with no notches/holes
    • near-perfect size for one-hand usage
    • not the latest, but still new Android 12
    • good stereo sound
    Cons
    • battery degradation, which was already weak as new
    • discontinued, last security update at October 2021
    • no LED notifications, I miss this feature in modern devices
    • no 3,5 mini-jack
    • Qualcomm 845 is hot chip
    • they say it could brick

  • Aside from the camera it's useless

The camera is one of the best. However, the phone is a piece of crap in all the other departments. First, the battery last half a day somethime less, you need to charger it at least twice if you are a heavy user. In normal use, you still need to charge it at afternoon. most importantly, it takes ages to fully charge from flat to 100%, more than 2 hours. Also, the sim tray is peculiarly misplaced on the bottom and always confuse it with the microphone as they have similar holes, almost ruined the microphone on numerous occasions. Moreover, the phone doesn't allow third-party headphones, as a result, I couldn't use my type-c earphones because it requires the original earphones that comes with the phone, and pple reported having continous issues with them too. Furthermore, the pixel 3 is limited features-wise, it doesn't allow double tap to lock the screen, three-fingers swipe to take a screenshot and more, it's poor in this regard. In short, it has been my worst purchase ever, stay away.

It is one of the mobiles that I liked the most

I loved this phone, it has one of the best pixel selfies (better than most later phones), it is pleasant in hand, the construction material is premium, it weighs nothing, smooth operating system, despite having 4 GB RAM It is luxurious, for me the weak points of this device are the battery (2915 mA does not last at all), it does not have a full screen, it stayed on Android 12 (without updates, although it is luxurious) and the 4G is not as stable as on other devices.

    Price quality!

Very convenient and reliable phone. Even despite its age, it works great and does not slow down. The only downside is the battery. Lasts less than a day with heavy use.

    Nice machine, except...

Everything is good both in design and in work both in everyday life and with demanding games. But there are two things that spoil this whole picture - this is a small amount of battery and an insufficient amount of screen brightness. In terms of brightness indoors or in cloudy weather, there are no questions, but nothing is visible in the sun.

    Great phone with great camera

The camera is the best, nothing else to expect from a pixel. Sound is great, screen is great. I have enough smartphone until about the evening with active use, this is enough. Compact, fits perfectly in the hand, beautiful, someone may not like the location of the buttons, but you can get used to it quickly. Vibration feedback is chic, when typing on the keyboard it taps very pleasantly. A pure android, coupled with a good Snapdragon 845, do their job, even in 2022 it is enough for toys and a smooth system interface.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
