View answers - Good looking, big screen, great value phone
Well built/design phone. good material, no cheap plastic to be seen. Spec wise I think the 8x is comparable to Samsung A30. Camera is so-so , AI mode is a bit unrealistic , low light is not so good except in night shot mode-provide that you can keep the camera steady for a few second while taking the night shot. My phone is now updated to Android 9 but have some bug with a few app after update. Most disappointing about my phone is that the model sold in my country (Thailand) L 22 is without dual band wifi. ie. no 5GHz band. otherwise this is a great all-rounder phone

Good for watching videos. Sometimes hangs on web pages. Buy a protective case so you don't crack the glass. Pictures are decent. Sound is not too good. If you can get it for cheap (like less than 100US) then it is worth it. The Honor Play is better for gaming, but the screen will be smaller. Has not received the update to Pie as of yet in the UK (March 2019) but if you live in Asia it will have it.

Score
- 7.4 Design & Materials
- 6.5 Performance & Hardware
- 6.2 Camera
- 6.6 Connectivity
- 5.8 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
