- I love the phone, best value/price in my opinion!
My dream was to buy a Honor 8 but then I heard about the 9 is coming to Europe soon and a little more than a month after is debut I bought my first android smartphone, the Honor 9 (4/64). I chose it because it has everything I want: powerful CPU with 4GB of ram, 64GB of storage (my 32GB SD card was just enough in my previous phone). Also if you are only using one Nano SIM slot you can expand the storage which is another great feature. The operating system is not pure android but I don't mind using EMUI. Huawei's OS however contains some pre-installed apps that you cant unistall (Heath, Weather, Clock, Smart Controller, Calculator), which are mostly good to have but others needs and update (Facebook (no Messenger), Instagram) and Google's apps are also pre-installed. I noticed a few framedrops while playing but it is really rare and only happens if you have other applications open in the background. Other than this the phone's performance is amating, Great job Honor!

Score
no Ki
- 4.7 Design & Materials
- 6.6 Performance & Hardware
- 6.0 Camera
- 6.1 Connectivity
- 4.9 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
