    Good hardware, bad software

This is not my first Huawei phone since they cut ties with Google (and therefore lacks their services). But it is likely to be the last. The incompatibility with Western apps is very great and sometimes insurmountable, the Huawei App Gallery is extremely limited and downloads are usually either external or manual, in the same way as updates. It does not update apps outside the App Gallery, and therefore either you do it by hand (downloading the apk and so on) or you are left with an old and vulnerable version of the app. Another thing that is true is that there are no Android updates per se, although there are HarmonyOS updates every so often. Furthermore, many Western apps depend on Google services and are only usable through a mobile emulator like GSpace, with all that that entails, and even then in some cases. The camera, although decent, fails to press capture several times until it responds, and this has happened with another friend's nova since the first use. Regarding falls, since I have the tempered glass and a case (and I'm lucky that it didn't hit a weak break point), it is quite resistant to me. And as for the battery and connectivity, in general they leave something to be desired. The battery deteriorates quite a bit with fast charging. Huawei's firmware and hardware in general are good and enjoyable, but these things ruin the experience of the device.

The only bad thing is that it does not receive more updates above android 11 without thinking that it is a cell phone that came out 9 months ago

Well, it's good but trying with very demanding games has a serious downturn and gets very hot

    Okay

It has a very attractive design, good screen quality, acceptable camera but with very good and useful functions such as using two cameras at the same time. However, it has a very poor resistance, the back part only broke in the first fall and it has a small battery in case of demanding use.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
