  • Nice phone even in 2022

It misses wireless charging. Don't know why it is in specification.

  • Google-less life at its finest

I taught I could live with it, but Huawei didn't make its Google competitor apps avaliable worldwide (wallet, Meetime)
The camera is awesome, after some tinkering, the battery is also ok and the screen and sound quality is good too.

  • really good choiche if you don't need GMS

Pictures are amazing for this price! the camera stabilization is the greatest thing I've ever seen on a phone. The device is very fast and stable and everything is very smooth and perfect. If you want to use google with no GMS there is always a way to do it via browser, but sometimes it gets very frustrating when you want or need a particular app. My overall experience is more than good but I hope that Huawei will find a way to upgrade Its app market or include the GMS again in its devices.

    Pros
    • camera for the price
    • size of the phone
    • light weight
    • speed and reactivity
    • it's a very good looking phone

It is a cell phone with excellent cameras, performance, autonomy and a very good build quality.

I have had it for 3 years, I would say that it is one of the best Huawei cell phones I have had, its screen is very good and although it lacks Hz on the screen like 90 or 120, it is still a very good quality panel, in terms of I have this phone with autonomy (battery condition at 100%) so it lasts me all day and I have plenty of it without problems, in games it lasts almost 6 hours (it reached 5:58 hours in various games) in use normal such as social networks, multimedia, photography and in general daily use, it can easily last you 8 hours, its audio is not its strong point and although it is not stereo its speaker has good audio that is equivalent to good mids and highs in terms of bass Yes, they can be perceived but obviously not as stereo speakers, something that would have been great, its Kirin 990 (5G) processor is very good after 4 years since the processor came out at the end of 2019, giving an AnTuTu score of: 710,657 points, something that is very good, it is UFS 3 storage type.0 so it is a very fast device in terms of data transfer and downloading, one point that could be improved is its RAM, which is DDR4X technology, so I would say that this device could have had DDR5 but in general its RAM It is very good and it is not a bad point, its cameras are very good since its lens is the Sony IMX700, the same sensor as in all the major variants of this cell phone such as the P40 Pro and P40 Pro+, the quality of the photos in all The conditions are excellent and much better than a large majority of current cell phones. In video I heard that it was bad but in my opinion it has too good video quality and very good optical stability compared to its previous generation, I compared it with the cell phone. that I use in my company (iPhone 12) and the truth is that this Huawei has better cameras in terms of optical stabilization if it is lower than that of the iPhone 12 but otherwise everything is better in terms of cameras and power.

I've been using the p40 for 4 days, so far it's a wonderful piece of equipment because of how fluid it is.

A small team but well equipped to fight well, you have to have some knowledge to be able to use WhatsApp among other Google apps, but I use Microsoft more in terms of storage and the Telegram app to save things,

I had the Huawei P20 Pro and I have no complaints about its operation, after the P30 and now the P40, without a doubt Huawei is a great company that despite the US technological blockade is still a great option for anyone who wants a good phone, I totally recommend it the Huawei P range

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
