  • my first smartphone

this was my first touchscreen smartphone, got in early 2017 i think, and it's still alive and well (apart from the battery that's completely dead and needs to be constantly plugged in). anyway never had stutters in normal day to day use, good background processing/keeping apps open in background, nice ui for the time, stunning camera for the pricepoint! i loved this phone until the battery started dying. it also has fingerprint gestures (you can swipe on the sensor to swipe photos in the gallery, etc)!! i've never found another phone that did that.

    • quick fingerprint sensor
    • fingerprint gestures

  • Still alive after 4 years!

It still works with some 3D heavy games and it work flawlessly for general usage.
The Kirin 659 CPU is showing their future proof ability.
This phone is still worth buying for 100$<

    • OK Back/Front Camera sensor
    • Works good for daily usage

  • Just don't get it, even if somebody wants to give it to you for free.

It was good for first three, four months after I got it, because before I had an LG L7 II, even bigger disaster. After that I had only problems with it - it started to get laggy, battery was getting worse and worse, screen is terrible even with medium sun... Half a year ago battery just absolutely gave up - on energy saving mode, with lowest screen brightness, it goes from 100% to 0% in one and a half hour of mild use. It can lose around 20% to 30% of battery by just lying in energy saving mode, with WIFI and all apps off. Recently it even went further - it can go from any percent to 0% in second. I can have 50% or 80%, when suddenly smartphone goes crazy - stops reacting to my touch and changes brightness, starts some apps, just acts like somebody was wildly, blindly touching it, shows 0% and goes off. It won't turn on again until I plug it in with a charger (even just for a minute). Then it magically regains all % it had begore it turned off. I have to go everywhere with a powerbank.

    Pros
    • Size - not too big, not too small for my hands
    Cons
    • Honestly - everything.

  • Beast

It has a simple and good design. I used it for more than one year and never disappointed me. It runs well in everyday tasks, such as browsing, social networking or video playback. It's pretty decent in demanding games. It gets for me a score of ~76000 in AnTuTu v7.
I have no ideea if it's drop-resistant because I never dropped it. The battery holds up for about one day or more if I use it for simple tasks, and a few hours if used for demanding tasks. I don't regret buying it. Still a beast in 2019!

Ki Cost-effective
Score
Not available
What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
