Good smartphone with multiple accessories available

Smartphones pleasant to use in the set with a quick adaptability to all kinds of accessories, can be magnetized on the back of the device, price remains excessive on these modules. FHD screen of very good quality, no latency or lack of brightness, fast fingerprint reader on the front. Good stereo front sound that is used both in call as speaker because it is in the absence of rear speaker or the bottom of the phone. Camera front and rear of good quality day and night with the possibility of using a flash in the front unfortunately its rear lens remains quite thick visual and touch, once a shell install it feels more. Battery life very good on the first 6 months easily 1 day of autonomy but a loss begins to be felt beyond 6 months following a continuous decline until the complete uselessness of the device after 1 year daily use.

If I had better Hardware, I would have aged better.

The Moto Z2 Play, is a unique device, with the mind and great idea of Motorola for a modular system, returns like its past Moto Z, Z Droid, Z Force, Z Play, to dabble in that aspect. The Z2 Play, comes hand in hand, with nothing desirable and decent hardware for its time; which makes the delivery team but it is not to demand its performance in important applications. This coupled with the lack of constant updates and great abandonment by Lenovo, makes the phone, not a pleasant experience at the end of his days. The big point in favor, is its shape and aesthetics, a large-colored aluminum cell phone, brightly colored AMOLED screen, a good audio manager both the small horn it has, as well as its audio chip to control the 3.5 MM. Single piece aluminum body, feels strong and dense, the quality of assembly feels just as you take the device.

    very good relation cost quality

Every time I have had the opportunity to change cell phones, I analyze and see different brands, including the top of the range, and I always end up choosing Motorola again ... from the "brick" to the current Moto Z2. I never had problems, they fully meet my needs and expectations (with saying that I no longer have a PC, I do everything with my cell phone) and I always find the price-quality ratio of all their models remarkable. I value the Android Stock very much. For me they are a tool and I do not justify paying brands or details that could be considered fashionable or status. There is a point where the higher price is not proportional to the benefits and Motorola seems to be very clear about that concept (from my point of view). At the end of the day it is the brand that has more experience in cell phones, besides that it has always been a good reference in communications equipment.

It's good but it's not what I expected after the year of use.

Well as I say it seemed excellent the idea of the Moto Mods in theory is good but in practice you realize that some are to cover the shortcomings of the phone, are not power-ups that happens to me with the battery instead of lasting me about 29 hours or so, does not give normal use because they have to know that the battery that has this phone is very bad does not last more than 4 or 5 hours in use and the speaker happens the same thing they are good but in these two is a FAIL, they should fix that. The year loses power, speed, and load.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
