  • Great sound, great battery life and that's it. Not recommended in 2019

Not practical for daily use. First, it's heavy which makes quite difficult to hold and use. Second, no update, you'll be stucj in Nougat. Third, Really bad cameras. sluggich in 2019.... Not recomended.

    Pros

    • Loud speaker( best I've heard)
    • Fast Charging(2 hours to fill 5100mah)

  • Fast, smart, long-lasting, perfect for video and audio conferencing, hotspot, video, reading and other work tasks. Great camera.

Uses 25-30% of battery in extensive use: navigation, video conferencing, reading, and 15% minimal use.

    • stock camera, esp. HDR
    • screen

  • No comments on anything except Lenovo's support team - a "bug" preventing bootloader unlock has not been fixed for several months.

Warning: do not buy if you want a custom rom and/or root, except if you have faith in Lenovo to fix their verification servers (I do not). In case you want to be stuck on stock Nougat for all eternity, this is the phone for you ;)

Update: bootloader unlocking has been fixed (again), but it is still mandatory to wait for 14 days in order to be granted an unlock.
Note: Unlocking may be be impossible again in the future.

    Pros
    • Battery, really fast charging

    • Efficient 14nm Snapdragon 625

  • If you need a phone with good battery life you must get this

The battery life on this phone is amazing, the UI is fast and smooth and the fingerpint sensor works perfectly.

It would be nice if the camera was better but as it's not a flagship phone I wasn't expect it to be... It's a decent camera with good light conditions but average with low light.

Western brands are obsessed with making slim phones, but I rather buy a 8.3mm phone with 5100mAh battery and 3.5 jack (Lenovo P2) than a 5mm phone with a 3500mAh battery and without 3.5 jack.

    Pros
    • Battery Life
    • Smooth UI
    • Almost 0 bloatware
    • Fingerprint
    • Radio FM
    • Good signal and GPS
    Cons
    • Camera could be better

    • Screen8.7

Score

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
