- A huge upgrade from the LG v20 that I had! Loving the battery life of this phone.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a phone with a long lasting battery.
Can manage high quality demanding games really well, doesn't get stuck or anything.Positives
- Fast system
- Non that I can see yet.
- Super bright display, nice and fast face unlock, gorgeous seamless wallpapers, fast and good camera. Really happy with G8S Thinq
I own this phone for ten days now. I came from a Nokia 8 and Pixel 2 XL, so pure Android. What's the difference? The G8S is in every aspect much more personalisable (?) than the others. And I like that. I know that in the public opion there are some complaints about the LG UX software. For me UX 8.0 is simple to understand and offers much more choice than stock android. And it works from the box, so you don't have to customize it.
The battery is more than sufficient for me. Around 6 to 8 hours screen on time (some bluetooth, no no 3/4G). Which is perfect.
The camera's on the rearside are really good. I don't know how good, but in daily life absolutely good enough. The video's are even better.
This definitely this finest phone I have owned (Moto X 2014, Moto X Force, Nokia 8, Pixel 2XL) .
- AutoGreat value for money - everyone else can pack up.
For me, the phone is just the right size and fits comfortably in my hand. Except for the power button, all buttons are easy to reach. The knock function almost completely replaces the power button. For "sleep", a double tap (adjustable) on the display is sufficient. This is exactly how you can wake it up and switch from the Always On Display to the lock screen. The finger sensor on the back is 1A. Very quick, accurate and easy to reach. Face Unlock is also some of the best on the market. Of course, also because of the ToF sensor, which, among other things, gives the notch its appearance. This is a matter of taste, but it doesn't bother me personally. Videos basically have a format that is not influenced by the notch, but with some the entire screen can be filled on the sides by pulling apart. But even here the notch doesn't bother me. Otherwise, for the price, really great equipment and nothing to be desired! Clear recommendation!Positives
- Fingerprint vulnerable
- Update policy LG
- Battery only average
- AutoLg: you can!
Since when it came to market I had my eyes on this mobile for its benefits and Lg experience. I had to expect the usual lows of the brand: and it happened: only us350, with a pk3 speaker included. I am very happy with the cell phone, for its cameras (night photos could be a little better), the video that dazzles, its power and capacity, its innovative recognition systems. I am confident that Lg will offer updates to Android 10 and beyond for at least two years. Lg batteries!Positives
- Recognition modes
- Night camera
- Android 10 update
- AutoGood quality, fluidity, design and performance
In general, I found a terminal that is good in everything, but perhaps not the best in aspects separately. It is fast and fluid, the cameras have a good quality, the battery always lasts the entire day of use and the screen has very good quality although if it were UHD instead of FHD + it would be better.Positives
- Overall screen quality
- Screen resolution
- Camera resolution
- HandID accuracy

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
