  • Good phone, but let down by it's fragility.

I was immediately impressed by the quality of sound on calls. However, I broke the back very easily. It's just a glass panel glued on with empty space behind it. A little bit of pressure and it breaks. Scratches easily too. The screen is great but also scratches easily. I've dropped it twice, not very hard and the camera stopped working. Then it just started working again after a few days. Very weird.

    Pros
    • Call quality
    • Smooth and fast in daily use.
    • Great battery.
    Cons
    • Easily scratches
    • Back easily breaks
    • Camera stops working when dropped

  • Extremely sturdy phablet

Even with the huge useable-surface-ratio it's a big phone, probably less comfortable for people with smaller hands. The pictures it makes aren't particularly high quality. But I have big hands, and I don't ask more of my camera than the occasional snapshot for Facebook or the family album. The screen has good colours, and plenty of intensity for even the brightest summer days. The speed and smoothness of the interface is very good, and what makes it even more pleasant is that the interface is close to stock Android. I haven't encountered any apps or games that this phone has trouble with, in terms of speed and graphics.

What impressed me most is the huge battery capacity, easily allowing for more than 24 hours of operation between recharging (provided you're not surfing or gaming *all* the time), and the sturdiness of the machine: it survived treatment that would've shattered the screens of most phones I've owned - even with their smaller screens.

    Pros
    • Large screen
    • Good brightness
    • Good colours
    • Good performance
    • Big battery
    • Very sturdy
    Cons

There are only a few of the downsides:
Too sensitive double click to unlock and slowly working gestures.

    Pros
    • Design
    • Deeesiiign!
    Cons
    • unlocking with gestures and double tap
    • gathering fingerprints on the glass

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
