Summary: The Motorola Moto E5 is an entry-level smartphone that offered good value for money. It has a 5-inch screen with HD resolution, a Snapdragon 425 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. It also has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The Moto E5 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and has a 4000 mAh battery. Design: The Moto E5 has an attractive and compact design, its colors: graphite gray and gold are nice although the phone is made of plastic, but it feels well built and durable. Screen: The 5-inch screen with HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixels) is not the sharpest, but it is good enough for most tasks although the colors and viewing angles are not the best Performance: The Snapdragon processor 425 with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage is currently still halfway decent for basic tasks but not for demanding tasks since it jams and especially with its type of storage (eMMC 5.1) it is torture Software: "Pure" Android It is the best thing this phone has, it currently officially runs on Android 7.1 Nougat which is well optimized Camera: The rear camera takes decent photos in good lighting conditions, but they can sometimes be blurry and noisy in low light conditions. The front camera is sufficient for selfies and video calls. Battery: The battery lasts a full day with moderate use. However, if you use your phone a lot, you may need to recharge it before the day is over.

Score
- 4.6 Design & Materials
- 4.6 Performance & Hardware
- 4.7 Camera
- 4.9 Connectivity
- 5.1 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
