  • Good quality, serious build, and system softwares upgrades, good radio FM Tuner.

I wanted a short (less than 16 cm) smartphone. I tried a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T but the FM tuner was too poor. This Motorola as fast as some chinese brands, but is seriously build and supported (softwares updates-upgrades), and there is no bloatwares (ads). And with some luck perhaps it will be upgradable with LineAgeOS in the future.

    Pros
    • No adwares (bloatwares). Softwares upgrades.
    • Good FM tuner quality
    • Decent size (16 cm).
    • Has a jack audio.
    Cons
    • A bit slower than other brands.
    • A IRDA function would be welcome (as a toy...)

  • Good Performance and Unbeatable battery at a very reasonable price.

Design is really just ok, but forgettable with the price tag, cameras are not bad, the macro camera is trash though. But the Battery is spectacular.

    Reasonable

It's a cell phone that I use to leave the house to go to university. It works quite well for the time it has but it is true that today it is no longer as powerful as before, even using only networks it can get stuck and freeze at times.

    good multimedia device

As a brand, I do not recommend Motorola due to the lack of software optimization and lack of customization layer and for that reason, sometimes the devices have connectivity problems, I do not recommend a bad experience at all.

    Total balance

It's good, pretty and cheap. For those who don't know, the camera is good (if you know how to use it) and let's remember that it is mid-range (let's not ask for more than what we pay) PS. Buy new so you don't give false opinions. Every new device does not have battery defects, reboots, ghost screens, etc. Do not install garbage like GCAM and pirated applications. Greetings.

    Very satisfied

I bought this phone because of the lack of customization of the motorla and the battery. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the screen and sound. It is a mobile phone that meets normal use. The only drawback is the resistance of the screen. 2 half-height falls and 2 new screens. I have never had another so fragile in that aspect.

Full 2023, 2024 I do not recommend it. go for a newer one

My experience with this phone kept getting worse and worse. At the beginning during the first 8 months or so, everything is fine!! The battery lasted a long time, it was a pipe that worked really well, until my battery began to drain more and more quickly because of Android 11 (and I could never solve that and I was fed up!), the Wifi does not have good distance range... then more than 10 months after having it I lost the Gcam installation file and I had uninstalled it because I had no more space left, but then Oh surprise! The Gcam for this phone was no longer available in any link!! There obviously the experience worsens since without the gcam installed the quality of the cameras is not that good... in fact the worst camera is the ultra wide angle since we need yes or yes very good light to take a picture without noise and with good detail because as soon as the light goes down a bit, it takes some DISGUSTING photos!! With a lot of grain, in terms of slow motion, the one that comes from the factory is a SHIT!! It constantly refocuses as if it were a low-end, then as for the rest it has electronic stabilization that is good, it records very well in 4K, portrait mode very well and that, but with those details it ends up being a bittersweet experience. As for the sound my Galaxy J8 to which I returned, reproduces much more powerful bass than the supposed 2 speakers of this Motorola, with that I say everything. The software personally ends up boring me since it's pure Android, but the worst thing for me is the updates section. Motorola should yes or yes include a customization layer at the level of other brands, incidentally to leave that interface so... boring and add applications that are missing from the factory (such as notes, a music player, voice recorder, etc.)

    Pros
    • With the Gcam I took some great photos
    • System performance and stability
    • Gestures and Always on display
    • microphones
    Cons
    • Pure Android and only updated to Android 11
    • The Gcam is not found today
    • The speakers lack some bass
    • Bad fingerprint sensor!
    • Wifi range in the distance
    • At 14 months approx. I was a little slower

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
