  • Oppo A9 (2020) is not good for gaming and cannot update.

Oppo A9 (2020) has micro-USB instead of USB Type C and it was slow and cannot upgrade all android versions. Oppo A Series is bad.

    Unstoppable

For a low-end phone it has a chipset that makes it immortal from a software point of view. As far as hardware goes it's indestructible unless you throw it against a wall. Poor camera like all phones in this range. Infinite battery even considering the low energy expenditure of the components

My smartphone but below the competition

It's my smartphone, it's not that powerful, we've already seen better for mid-range smartphones, but it's okay, it runs very well. In photo it is also good but there are still some small gaps. A screen that is good but not better than my redmi 9a. It's not that bright

    • ...but a bit fair
    • Not so bright screen

Buy it only if they make you an offer of less than 140 euros and you want a very resistant mobile with a good battery

A great battery the camera did not like me very much and the screen shows that it is not hd

The screen does not have a great resolution. Sometimes you are watching a video and you see the pixels. I was disappointed in the resolution I have a Huawei mate 20 lite and this is full HD and it shows

    Pros
    • Drums.
    • The size is perfect
    • Large capacity of gigabytes

In general very happy with this phone

I do not like the location of the volume buttons as they coincide with the thumb when holding the phone and are pressed very easily unintentionally

It is a round mobile at a good price

It is a round mobile phone, it is a bit scary because of the resolution of the HD + screen but it is not noticeable. As soon as I turn on the phone I skip the update to colorOS7 with Android 10. It seems to me a very successful design. It makes me very comfortable I have gone from xiaomi to oppo, I was afraid to leave MIUI and the truth is that I did not miss it. For 129 euros prepaid at Simyo it's a great price. Compared to other stores that sell it at 199euros - 209euros.

    Pros
    • Updates
    • Camera with GCAM
    • Fluency
    • NFC chip
    • Large Battery and 128GB storage
    • Dolby sound (2 speakers)
    Cons
    • HD + Screen resolution (Not noticeable)
    • The oppo camera app would have to be polished more
    • It cannot be rotated and there is no custom ROM

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
