- Not Great Compared to the Competition
The cameras are mediocre but it has a decent number of options such as an ultrawide. The main camera takes decent pictures during the day but they are almost unusable. The ultrawide pictures are functional but they are not as good as the main as the pictures come dark and noisy compared to the main camera. The macro is completely useless as the picture ar completely blurry with dull colours. The video stabilization is not the best as it only has EIS and no OIS. The built quality is one of the worse parts of the phone. The screen is absolutely awesome. By far the worse parts of this phone are the software and performance. The specifications of the phone are not bad the software slows down the phone a lot due to the amount of bloatware. For example, the phone comes with Google Photos and Samsung's own photos app called Gallery which is nowhere near as good as Google Photos, this is one of the many examples. Samsung should stop making duplicate apps that are not as good and try to improve

Have model SM-A705W on the Rogers network in Canada. Most impressed by the incredible battery life. Updates not that frequent as it current on Oct, 2019 security patch yet we're already in late December. Also it is not scheduled to receive Android 10 update until April 2020 (!). That's simply too slow compared to others.
The phone has a headphone jack , a rarity these days. The display is bright and clear. Got Antutu score of 199K last time I ran it a few days ago.
If Samsung added wireless charging and an IR blaster this would be the perfect phone for me. Instead I had to add those items separately.Pros- Great battery life

- Headphone jack
Cons- Slow for updates
- No IR blaster
- No wireless charging

Score
no Ki
- 6.4 Design & Materials
- 5.8 Performance & Hardware
- 5.9 Camera
- 6.4 Connectivity
- 5.9 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
