- Overall it's a good device but doesn't recommend for the present...
I have using Samsung S5 global edition since 2016 but there weren't any issues or troubleshoot except battery issues and some display issues when turning off,but it's not a huge issue because it occurs when I'm turning the display off. Although now I even don't have a power button it lasted till this january.
Overall I'm not well satisfied about the gaming performance due to lagging and battery issues but now there are many issues with Google services they are crashing again & again.Pros- Display

I bought the phone about two months after release, I currently still use it, though to have a smoother phone with better performance, I flashed a different ROM, a different kernel and a different recovery. I also use Evie launcher, its simple, lightweight and very useful. Though nowadays the phone has lag if the internal memory is close to full, or when an application is using a lot of ram. One weird thing I had since a year is that the phones freezes and has a black screen when I use flash to take photos if the night display mode is on (the feature that makes your screen turn orangy).
I'm looking to replace it atm just to be sure I don't lose its data, though I'm sure it can do another 2 yearsPros- still perfectly useable for the latest social media apps and for browsing the web
- smooth when mutlitasking between social media
- built to last 5+ years (if you care well for it)
- mid- to high-end cpu for todays standards
- snapdragon 801 2.5ghz (2.8ghz overclocked)
- able to run android 7 smoothly, android 8 gave lag
Cons- mutlitasking becomes hard thanks to app updating for phones with more ram
- can no longer run high demanding games
- the camera is bad for macro, easily out of focus
- can get warm
- can freeze if internal memory is below 1gb free
- horrible nightshots, only sees light sources a bit

I purchased this phone some time ago, and it's been pretty decent. Doesn't run demanding games outstandingly, due to it's old SOC (Snapdragon 801 from 2014). It's interface is quite skinned, which is why I installed Lineage on it. Battery was bad for me but this could be due to battery deterioration, which is convienently easily replaceable on this phone. If you’re buying a phone in 2019 and you’re thinking of this I’d recommend an SE or chip in some extra to get, say, an S7. It’d last you much longer.
Pros- Comfy
- Nice camera
- Still runs alright.
- Beautiful screen.
Cons- Old 2014 CPU (32-bit)
- Hard to see in the sun
- Default ROM is sucky

Bought it in 2014 and just sold it (2018) to switch to a Poco F1. Good camera for its release date. After some years, required me a recharge at work in mid-afternoon (moderate use). For light use at weekends, original battery still lasts a whole day. Its bloatware with 16GB of internal storage (for the version I owned) is a bit annoying. That requires some regular cleaning to keep storage usage below 90%, since I have a bunch of apps installed. Its performace is OK for basic usage with today's apps. Flashing custom ROMs helps a bit in those ways. The AMOLED screen shows no burn-in after 4 years.

Score
no Ki
- 1.9 Design & Materials
- 1.9 Performance & Hardware
- 1.9 Camera
- 1.9 Connectivity
- 1.9 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
