- My dream phone.
The galaxy s active series was the most impressive thing back in the day, sadly the S8 active was the last of it's kind. A brute almost unbreakable flagship device. Samsung probably killed this segment because a durable phone means less phones being sold.

I had it from 2019 until a few days ago because I was robbed, but the only problem I had was the battery that swelled but that happens to any cell phone, I just changed it and everything returned to normal, I would not buy it again because it is from 5 years ago and there is no 128gb version although it is expandable up to 512gb with an sd but, 1000/10, the camera does not envy anything to other cell phones, a beautiful and very detailed resolution, especially on sunny days and the screen the best of the best with its AMOLED technology, it doesn't burn your eyes at night or during the day, it looks gorgeous. In addition, on the back it has a plastic on the lid which is resistant and has a texture to prevent it from slipping from the hands, the frames are made of real metal and nothing is scratched, like the screen, it was never scratched and I always had her without a protector. In addition, its performance is very good even for the date, let's remember that it was a high-end, at that time I bought it used for 128 dollars considering that it had not even been 2 years since it came out at 800 dollars.

Score
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
