- My first Xiaomi!
Well well, bought this one on e-commerce flasg sale when xiaomi officially selling their phone in indonesia. The price was really really good bargain back then. It sold out only few minutes, lucky me i got this. Overall this phone was really good performance, cheapest phone for 1gb ram back then. Design is so-so with black boxy flat, doesnt look like luxy at all

Google for kairi_zeroblade's CM based temasek ROM for this phone! MIUI is too much for just 1GB of RAM. It works much better with previously mentioned one.
It has decent camera for the price.Pros- Camera

At first the phone used to discharge the battery in a very short amount of time and overheat.
The first update solved that and ever since the phone is running smooth with a full day of use average.
The camera, even though a bit slow and outdated, still takes great photos. Usable and satisfying. Obviously weak flash.
CPU can handle almost everything reasonable, games are handled but 3D is not its forte.
Never left without available ram, even though running one of the heaviest OSes out there.
Probably the most amazing feature of this phone is the OS, a custom version of android named MIUI.
Weekly updates if you are on the developer rom and monthly for standard.
(Video player handles everything, browser almost never fails, notes are handy, a mi account keeps everything synchronised, music player was unbeatable -new version not so much, consider downgrade?-)Pros- MIUI
- Value for money
- Build quality
Cons- Battery (sometimes)
- Lack of support for global customers
- Mi Account SMS security-code almost never sent

Battery is ok.. Sound is great, better than my old HTC sensation. Screen size is ok too, the colors are nice but when the sun it bright you will may have some problems reading the display. The MIUI android version is totally worthless. I've installed cyanogenmod 11 on it, has a few minor small bugs that don't really bother you when using daily. I think the hardware of the phone is of better quality than a phone I paid 380 euro for while this one was just 140 euro(including PTU case etc). As it came out of the box with MIUI I was not really happy, MIUI used a lot of resources and had spyware/bloatware pre-installed also in official ROM. So I flashed cyanogenmod and it's way better and no bloatware crap installed obviously.

Super simple mobile, but robust and reliable. It was my entry point to Xiaomi devices, to test if operating system in an economical way. And I loved the software, although the hardware was just because it was a mobile input.
Pros- Price quality.
Cons- Battery.

Despite the years it works perfectly, it is very fluid. the apps open very quickly. I have it with official LineageOS, every week there are improvements, I usually change it in the middle of every month when Google security updates come out and Lineage's incorporate them (some month you can skip it because you do not feel like doing it for OTA, although it is so easy and fast that it gives pleasure). I had to change the charge port plate (for 2 eurillos on AliExpress). I use it as a secondary phone and I carry it whenever I go by bike to record the routes, it serves as GPS. I have two new batteries that can be easily changed if necessary. I could use it perfectly from the main phone because it is very good but I prefer larger screens and I need more memory to install more applications, here we are a bit short
Pros- Size
- Fluency with LineageOS
- Constant updates
- Exchangeable battery
- Easy and cheap to fix
Cons- ROM and RAM memory short if you use many apps
- Only 3G (but very good)
- Design of all life (I do not know if it's a defect, it's very practical)

Score
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
