Reviews are relative to date, but by no means, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite still holds a top position in the $170 price range. Where this phone really filters out to be the topper is when you want Dual SIM with dedicated SD slot, best camera, better battery life, better performance, and more cost-effective. It is a phone with a design of the flagships paired with very good hardware. Nothing of this phone feels clonky but the rear face of the phone could get a revamp - it is afterall subjective. The sensors (gyro, proximity, compass, gps, image etc) are of top notch, accurate and nothing inside is cheap. You can even unplug the battery quite easily given if you have a philips screw and without voiding your warranty! You do get a Pixel-like experience with the phone. The camera is very good - probably the selling point for me - night time photos are above average; as with most smartphones anyway. Xiaomi may close updating the phone soon after 2020 (Android Q).
Pros- Accurate Sensors
- Fast and Snappy
- Very Stock Android experience (more like Pixel)
- Very good camera (esp Selfie, Portrait, Nighttime)
- Bootloader unlock without erasure (refer to XDA)
- Long battery life
Cons- Only OS support up until Android Q
- Filled with Google Bloatwares
- A bit low sound
- RAM usage too high all the time
- Most status bar icons arn't displayed bcz of Notch

View answers - It's a 'OK-to-good' smartphone
Since i've used the Mi A1 phone for almost two weeks last month, i decided to bought an half better version from an predecessor phone, Mi A2 Lite. I used it for two days and i think this phone it's OK, not so good and not so bad after all. Notch screen phone, rounded screen, metal body, and free softcase it's a plus for a design and material. The battery can last for a day from 98% to 20%, but wierdly, from 100% to 15% it can last for a half a day, the charge time for this phone is almost 2 hours from 20% to 98%. The performance is OK, less laggy, the multitasking is average, and support multi screen. The camera is good, but i think the second lens of this phone is useless for me because it's a potrait lens, not a tele, and the result for the bokeh effect its 70% accurate. So overall, i can't say this phone is better but also i can't say this phone is bad, so i can say this phone is 'OK-to-good' phone.
Pros- Long lifetime battery
- Cool design with metal body
- Camera result is 50% better than Mi A1
- Screen notch and rounded screen
Cons- Potrait mode for the camera is bad, so the second lens for this phone is useless
- Wierd screen adaptive
- The performance is same like Mi A1

Score
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
