- rafalbuczynski711Xiaomi Redmi Note 4XChina · 4GB · 64GB · SD625Edit commentReportAre you sure?ContinueReally good phone, I liked it and I still do.
Had it for almost year and a half know. Phone is really good, metal body gives some confidence, but it still requires a proper rubber case and some plastic on the front screen. Applications preinstalled were OK, I've uninstalled all of them with ease, even without root.
Camera is OK, quality in night might be better, but flash is strong and in proper white colour (red-eyes reduction also offers yellow flash). Grain in photos is visible when photos are taken without flash. Of course, when the light is bad or missing, photos will also be grainy.
Screen quality was very good at the beginning, with time quality dropped, but I do admit that phone was used in bad conditions. Max available bright nowadays is crappy, but when the phone is treated better, than I'm doing it, should be better.
Summary - I've bought it as my second Xiaomi product, used it hard, but I'm satisfied, now have few more Xiaomi stuff, and all of them works fine.Pros- Metal body
- Ok camera
- Nice miui without bloatware
- Easy root
- Ota to miui 9.5 from 8.0 I think
- Good battery at the begining (wears with time)
Cons- Max brightness
- Body should be tougher (might bend)

Score
- 5.8 Design & Materials
- 5.4 Performance & Hardware
- 5.6 Camera
- 5.1 Connectivity
- 6.9 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
