- not the best, but good for the price
i would consider myself a "power user" but this phone was in my budget in 2020 so i got it. camera during the day is excellent for the price/a budget phone, during the night it's better not to say anything...
it's good for normal use, miui is a very clean but a little heavy android skin so might give some problems but the UI/UX is top notch.
bad stuff: RAM management. it's TERRIBLE. don't bother getting low-end smartphones with mediatek processors because this is what happens, especially with xiaomi that prioritizes battery life and force closes apps in background.
and obviously don't play games like cod on this potato phone.Pros- camera during the day

View answers - Great phone but terrible service back up when it crashed
I had my Redmi Pro9 for 18 months when it crashed and the service at Xiaomi was really disappointing. Although my phone was in warranty, they would not accept it for repair as I could not provide my IMEI number ... which was locked in the phone. Long conversations with staff trying to be helpful but not explaining or solving the problem. Have learnt my lesson and will go for a household name with local backup in future.

Score
- 5.9 Design & Materials
- 5.6 Performance & Hardware
- 6.2 Camera
- 7.1 Connectivity
- 7.0 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
