Technical sheet of Samsung Galaxy S4 Active

Description

Its resolution is more than enough to satisfy the most demanding users. Many users say that this is their preferred size. Also this screen size ensures proper viewing and allows seamless use and enjoyment of the best games. There is a phone that stands out for being among the finest in the market, but we can not be classified as thick. Its thickness is suitable for daily use. The mobile is well finished, there is not a terminal that stands out in terms of materials used, but it is very well adjusted and the average user will find comfortable with it in his hand. This may be your phone if you do a high processor usage, is especially recommended for gamers and users that require multitasking. This cell phone does not have a camera that allows you to forget the compact at home, if this is a point you want to cover with your mobile, this may not be the best choice. It does not have an excessive disk space, but probably we never will need more. Thanks to the Gorilla screen of this phone, you can forget about having to protect it to prevent scratches. Enough power to get through the day without go looking for plugs everywhere.

    • Tough, hard-working phone. Excellent connectivity, resistant to daily and intense use and handling. Poor design, though.

I only had to give up on this phone because the battery rapidly decayed after the first two years of use. Being a Samsung, design is almost neglected, so don't expect a nice phone. Being an "Active" version of the tremendously popular S4, it was hard to find truly adequate accessories. Wifi and GSM connectivity were top-notch. As the "Active" model, it was designed to be resistant to hostile weather and usage conditions. By the time this came out onto the market, Samsung's TouchWiz ROM was horrible both in terms of UI and user-friendliness. When the battery definitively gave up on me, I toyed a little time with several informal ROMs, which gave it a little of life on its own. It was good till it lasted.

      Pros
      • Stubbornness and toughness
      • Great wifi, GPS and GSM connectivity
      • All Samsung perks: camera, materials, speed
      Cons
      • Battery slowly died out on me

Mobile that was good but is currently very mediocre

The S4 had a long time, currently it is a very poor and mediocre purchase, however, before it was quite powerful, but neither is it great, the GP (Grand Prime) are almost the same, a cell phone that could have been good before is currently downloaded very fast and it is very slow so much so that this 2022 is obsolete

    What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

    • Design and screen
    • Hardware and performance
    • Camera
    • Connectivity
    • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

    Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
