  Best budget device in 2021

  Honestly at first I wasn't very pleased because I had a Poco F1 before and the difference is certainly very small. But that doesn't make Poco X3 Pro a bad phone, it just makes a F1 an outstanding one. There is little amazing about the Poco X3 Pro but it's a solid device with the best performance in its price range and only minor drawbacks

  • Good performance and memories

  • Bad wide angle camera and terrible macro
  • Useless fourth camera
  • Big and heavy
  • The brightness is too low
  • A lot of bloatware but it's easy to uninstall
  • Face ID doesn't work well

  Still a beast for its price

  It's a great option if you want a powerful device for a low price. MIUI is lovely and works like a charm. I don't like the front design with frames and huge notch, but the rest is fine. Multimedia is not that good, it isn't a problem either. The worst problem is a bug that makes the phone restart all the time.

  Good price quality but too fragile

  I was happy about buying this phone. It was not the best in anything, but it was fine enough in everything. I wish screen was brighter but it was fine enough. I wish it had a zoom, but camera was fine enough. Battery lasted one full active day, that's more than most phones. It was not the fastest phone but performance was fine. Not the best audio, but loud enough and better than many.
  
  Sadly the screen lacks any sort of protection. In less than one week the screen already had minor scratches. In one month (and before falling), it already had 15 cm crack dividing it. When the phone finally fell (just 1 metre) the screen broke into pieces and the volume buttons stopped working
  
  I have never seen a so fragile phone before

  • Very fragile, screen was scratched very easily and later it broke very easily

  Rom is everything

  I bought this phone because the battery, it's the only outstanding feature. There are other phones with similar battery but I found this one somewhat prettier than most of them. Sadly the big battery also comes with a very heavy weight, over 200 grams.
  
  This phone had two big issues. Awful camera and awful rom full of bloatware. Luckily I've been able to change the rom manually and this improved my experience and opinion about it, a lot. Performance with Nougat custom roms is great as long as you don't install demanding games. Everything works fine. Sadly photos are simply mediocre no matter the rom and the flash is never syncronised with the camera so you cannot take any decent photo with flash.

  Good for the price. It is not perfect but it doesn't have important flaws

  It was one of the best phones you could buy for its price in 2015.
  
  I've got OTA updates but only the two first months. There are many alternative custom roms online that you can use to update to Lollipop or change anything.
  
  Some people might dislike its plastic design but I love it. It doesn't suffer from scratches, slippery or excessive fingerprints. It's been a year since I bought it, it few a few times but it still looks and works like new. So it's resistent and also comfortable with the back side is slightly curved (similar with Motorola). Regarding design I only wished it had a smaller weight and waterproof resistance.
  
  Performance or all multimedia (screen, camera or audio) are decent. They could be better, but probably not for this price.
  
  It's one of the few Chinese phones that comes with the European 800 Mhz LTE band and one of the most "European-firendly" OS (all translated and no Chinese bloatware).
  
  I only had problems with the microUSB port and a small malware.

  • Replaceable back cover and battery
  • Good connectivity
  • Good stock rom and many alternative custom roms
  • Quality screen in most situations
  • Good photo camera with powerful flash

  Cons

  • No fingerprint sensor, no infrared blaster
  • Weight a bit too heavy
  • Blurry and unsteady video recording
  • Screen isn't bright enough under daylight
  • Update to Lollipop requires flashtools
