Was previously using a Samsung S5, and was expecting more from the Moto G4 after reading reviews.
The phone is not truly a 5.5 inch screen, as the bottom contains live menu keys. The viewable screen is only 5.2 inch, unless watching a movie. I don't understand why the designers didn't utilise the empty space at the foot of the phone. In effect, it takes away from the phone's look and functionality.
You then have to accept that they have chosen to place the back key in the left hand side, but these are not customisable. What was the point of putting the menu keys on the LCD?
The phone is top heavy, and you get very little grip from the back cover. I'm constantly trying to balance the phone and not drop it.
The lack of standard apps is dreadful. No gallery, no pics editor, no music player. No link in camera to go straight to edit.
Audio port on top and USB port at the bottom. Same as the S5, but at least Samsung had good reason... an actual home key.
4/10
