-Stereo speakers: pretty good and it's a new experience coming off of a single speaker phone.
-Screen: is great, nice and big, will satisfy any of your needs, I don't even notice the punch-hole.
-Cameras: I'm not really a photographer, but it's pretty good and usable like most phones nowadays.
-Fingerprint scanner: Very quick and reliable.
-Speed: the phone is pretty fast, way faster than my older phone, opens apps quickly, it's pretty smooth.
-UI: coming from Samsung, I feel like One UI is a bit more refined than Mi UI and I miss some features like the gesture nav bar.
-In-hand comfort: It's a huge phone, I have small hands for a guy, some of my jeans have small pockets, I can't make almost any one-handed use but it's very light, so you don't feel like carrying a brick around everywhere, it's just too big for my liking.
-Music Player: I use my phone mainly as an MP3, Samsung Music allows hierarchical music folder sorting (folders inside folders), Mi Music does not.
The Phone was fine at the begining, it isn't the fastest there is, but It was the best I've ever had at the time. It quickly started going bad though. Sometimes I was on instagram, watching a video, the sound would start playing and keep playing even tho I scrolled down, so I would turn off the app and it would still be playing the sound. The batery usually would last an entire day, I would charge it during the night and use it during the day (Im not really a hardcore phone user, when Im home I used the PC and when Im not I might check up on it once in a while) for some reason after a while, the phone's batery started going mental, it would suck all the batery without me even using the phone, I was actually about to buy a new phone way early on but it eventually fixed itself somehow so I kept using it. What made me get rid of it was when the batery problem came back + a new problem where the phones screen would go black, randomly, without any reason, couldnt do anything, couldnt use it
The only complaints I really have are the fingerprint scanner and the cameras, they are acceptable, they aren't the worse I have seen, but for the Frontal Camera it's not great specially when you are in "normal" mode, I think it the normal mode is just a cropped version of the wide mode. There are 2 cameras in the back, normal and wide, wide has poor quality, and the normal is decent.
For the fingerprint sensor, its fast, but it's always complaining that you have your finger went or dirty, it's too demanding everytime, but pair it with face recognition (which isnt that safe but works well enough) and you'll unlock the phone everytime in no time (Last phone I had, the fingerprintscanner broke a few months after I bought it
Besides that, it's a solid phone, It's pretty and it's a samsung so you can expect samsung quality. A very clean android skin with very nice features, it's fast, not the fastest but for a budget phone you really can't ask for much more, it's great! I'd recommend it.
