  Really satisfied, exceptional value for money

  Design & Materials: Beautiful design. No camera bump (impressive considering OIS and how thin it is). Curved 3D glass gives a really nice feel and look, but is really slippery. On the front I like thin side bezels and dots for capacitive buttons.
  
  Performance & Hardware: It works like a charm, even 2 years after its release (2,1ghz 64gb model). It has USB type C, very fast fingerprint scanner, gorgeous bright screen, headphone jack, RGB LED notification, OIS... It even has a freakin' barometer.
  
  Camera: great sensors, but are crippled by Xiaomi's drivers and software (no 60fps video). I installed Google Camera mod and it transformed my camera completely.
  
  Connectivity: Good wifi and network signal, GPS used to make problems, but after optimizing it for Europe it works great. It has NFC, dual SIM, VoLTE, full Netcom support..
  
  Battery: Good for its size. I get 4-6 hours of screen on time depending on whether I use it regularly as a phone, or trash it with apps and web browsing.

  Cons

  • Slippery back glass, impossible to use without a case
  • Some consider black screen border to be annoyance
  • Glass, thinness and lightness make it feel fragile
  • Original MIUI ROM could be better
  • Battery could be bigger in favor of thicker phone
  • Side buttons placement and quality
