First off, I am using the 8GB Ram - 128GB Storage Global version of the phone here in the USA. My previous phone is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Headphone jack was a requirement for me without exception. I use it everyday for work so I will not buy a phone without it. One of the biggest and welcomed changes is the large battery. I'm a heavy phone user and I generally had to charge my Note 8 twice a day. With the Red Magic 3 I get at least a full day of use if not more. The Amoled screen is beautiful although the 90Hz refresh rate isn't that noticeable unless your in a game that supports it. The most noticeable game I could find that uses it was actually Pokemon Go. Night and day difference than standard. Speaking of gaming, playing Pubg mobile is fast and smooth on this phone. Even extended gaming doesn't overheat it. Cell reception on AT&T network is better than my Samsung. There is no option to customize the bottom navigation buttons. I prefer the back button to be on the right.
