Bought this for my daughter and she is very pleased with it. Especially for social media, its most important is the camera and the large OLED screen with 120mhz refresh that looks very nice and has good colors

Very good midrange smartphone with good price-quality ratio. Very good screen and super fast fingerunlock. Device is very fast and plays heavy games very smoothly. Is much better than Samsung A50, moto g7 and redmi note 7 pro. Really a top device for its price. Had the Samsung a40 before, this was a good device with its super amulet screen and spec, also price quality, but the Huawei p smart z is much better.

Value for money it is a very good option. I bought it for our 12 year old daughter because she needed a new one (the previous one was Wiko fever). She wanted a big screen and finger scanner and she takes a lot of photos. She also had to be able to play it smoothly. And I didn't want to go too expensive considering her age. So really great device it is certainly not the best but definitely recommended for this price quality class.

Ik heb veel opzoekwerk gedaan naar een goede prijs kwaliteit midrange smartphone rond de 200€. Omdat de meeste smartphones toch maar 2jaar updates krijgen en de batterij het in de meeste gevallen ook niet langer mee gaat ga ik zeker geen half maandloon uitgeven. Ik was tussen drie modellen aan het twijfelen, de Moto g7 (249€), maar daar zijn de updates niet zeker van. De Xiaomi redmi note 7 (209€) maar daar was de software niet altijd even stabiel. En dus deze Samsung a40. En heb er nog geen seconde spijt van gehad ja er zijn er veel snellere, en er hebben er een grotere scherm maar dan krijg je u smartphone met moeite nog in u broekzak. De selfie camera met schermflits duurt wel heel lang om een foto te maken maar hij neemt eigenlijk prima selfies zonder flits bij weinig licht. Voor de prijs zeker een zeer goede smartphone
