What's great is the display, despite being an IPS, the colors are better than my other IPS display on ZUK Z2, much more vibrant and colorful.
The signals are fine as well. Build quality could have been better, an all-metal build would have been my preference, but the plastic matte finish doesn't hurt.
Really good in the hands, comfortable to hold and operate. I can use it with one hand easily too.
The dual camera is a hoax, nighttime pictures are abysmal as the viewfinder picks up so much noise and becomes super laggy like it's running on hamster wheel fuel and not 3 gigs of RAM as stated on the package. I'd recommend you to not do that unless you want to watch your phone suffer. Selfies are okay.
The phone works well as a daily driver, and is a very comfortable to use if your hands are small (but there's no problem downstairs either, that I can tell you... jk).
I am okay with any screen over the 4.7" one on the iPhone, I find that a tad too small for my liking. The display is very clear and bright, you might have some problems on a very sunny day and especially when the sun is shining directly on the screen.
The speaker volume is fine, the dialer features and contacts app are integrated well - which makes it a good phone for regular callers!
Front camera is great for selfies, but the beautifying feature kills outdoor pictures so it's better to turn it off as it washes out all colors and saturation. Overheating is an issue when running demanding games.
ROM and UI issues do exist as - something called Apps Center does some security scanning which is a bit annoying.
Another disappointing feature is the delay in some notifications such as WhatsApp.
The build quality is good, metallic body with antenna lines on top and bottom.
Hardware is top notch with a DAC chip for superb sound quality over 3.5mm jack headphones.
SoC is a bit underwhelming, but snappy for everyday usage.
WiFi signal is very weak as my other phones and devices pick up much weaker signals than this device is able to, every area of weak signal is a deadspot. Even 2G/3G signals are weak and sometimes dropped if you're wearing skinny jeans.
It's a solid built unibody smartphone which with a well;-nown brand name would usually cost twice the price tag.
I got it for even lower than $120, and it is a great deal. Anyone looking for a cheap mid-ranger, this is the phone to go for.
However, the sim card tray has become loose so it shows no SIM inserted. The trouble increases even more if you have a SanDisk Micro SD card as it gets removed and the system prompts you to make it the default internal memory.
It does work out eventually, but it is very annoying.
Broke on the first hard drop, and the capacitive buttons and touch across half the screen has stopped working completely. The phone is still in one piece but as there is no one-handed mode, it has become useless as I'm sure there are no repairs that can fix this damage.
The processor MT6752 is amazing and can handle some of the best games on the Play Store.
But the phone had a problem with the display and the system freezing after every time the phone woke up from sleep.
No matter if you're calling, receiving a call, playing games, or texting, it would just freeze with tricolor lines on the screen and weird patterns.
