- Fingerprint sensor overheating and drained battery life
I bought this homtom ht20 pro because i thought the battery life could last longer but i was wrong.
When i u se this phone first thing i do is set my fingee print lock.
It didnt take long before the fingerprint overheat the fingerprint went hot fast and drain my battery faster..
When i watch YouTube,It only take one hours from 100% becoming 50% in battery life.
Then i turn off my finger print sensor. It stop overheating but battery life still drain fast,
And i even put my brightness at the lowest.
The phone is rough..but i dont recommend if using if u are a heavy user, for calling and WhatsApp yes it is good..but battery will drain fast if on video call..- 2.7

View answers - Dont recommend, its a gamble
I am in Adelaide, Australia, bought this phone from tinydeal for the durability and toughness. The on/off button fell out after a week. The phone worked for text and data but would not make or receive calls no matter what sim card was in it. Very disappointed. Going to send it back. The screen interface was smooth however.

View answers - Can't fault it for the price
Love the phone, cheap and cheerful. Of course its heavier that your normal phone, its a rugged phone and has a larger battery, what do you expect? One of the reasons I wanted the rugged phone was so I don't have to slap a case around it which would bulk a normal phone to a similar size anyway. The microphone works fine, an issue on the earlier HT20. Signal strength for mobile is a little weaker that the Samsung Note 5 I'm comparing it to which is a pity giving it's outdoorsy focus but again, at that price point I can't complain. I also ordered a Doogee T5 lite for my brother, now that's a heavy bulky phone but again bigger battery, metal body and almost a 3rd less in price than this phone its an inedible phone as well, my brother loves it.

Score
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
