Introducing the OnePlus 10 Pro: a premium high-end smartphone from the brand OnePlus. The series consists of three models, with the 10 Pro being the premium choice of the lot. Featuring an impressive 6.70-inch Amoled display with a 1440 x 3216 resolution, refresh rate of 120 Hz, peak brightness of 1300 cd/m2, 5000000:1 contrast ratio and HDR10+ support, it is suitable for any task. With a 89.2 usable surface, it looks as good as it functions. The display is also equipped with a dual edge display and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for superior protection.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is under the hood powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (4nm) processor accompanied by 8GB and 12GB of super fast RAM LPDDR5, and 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a score of 897,828 on AnTuTu v9 and a Fingerprint Display for security. The 10 Pro also features a custom-made 3161.09mm² VC vapor chamber heat dissipation system, providing a total heat dissipation area of 34119mm², and Customized X-axis linear motor (360mm³, Vibration volume increased by 47%).

In terms of imaging, it features a triple camera setup with the main camera being a Sony IMX789, 48.0Mpx, f/1.8, CMOS sensor; wide angle lens with a Samsung S5KJN1, 50.0Mpx, f/2.2, CMOS sensor; and a telephoto lens with an Omnivision OV08A10 8.0Mpx, f/2.4 sensor. It also provides Optical Stabilization (OIS), 4K Video, 8K Video and 7P lens, Ultra wide angle 6P lens FOV 150º (After wide-angle correction is turned on, the viewing angle is about 110°) and Telephoto with OIS 5P lens 3.4x zoom. For selfies it uses a Sony IMX615, 32.0Mpx, f/2.0 sensor with a Hasselblad powered audio.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, Dual SIM, USB Host 3.0, NFC, WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and GPS (L1+L5). In terms of battery life, it packs a 5000mAh battery capacity with an 80W fast charge, and wireless charging and reverse charging capabilities. It is also equipped with stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Noise cancellation microphone and more.

For its design, it is made of aluminium alloy bolstered by glass for a robust construction. It is however a weighty device with no FM radio.

Overall, the OnePlus 10 Pro is a great high-end device with plenty of power, features and quality. It does however come at a premium price and its weightiness might be an issue for some. Pros include its powerful SOC, impressive camera quality, stunning display and fast charge capabilities.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
