  • A near identical twin to the even cheaper Realme C1.

Display and sound performance are average for the picky but they're good enough for the budget conscious. Software and UI performance are fast and responsive so far...until the 2GB RAM gets filled. Mobile, WiFi and Bluetooth signals are all OK. The dual rear and front cameras take good daytime photos but it gets worse in nighttime shooting. The dedicated micro sd card slot is a blessing since currently most Chinese budget phones would be hybrid slot (use sim 2 slot). Good battery life, it will last an entire day of moderate usage but no fast charging support which is a downer.

For the 2/16GB variant, go for the even cheaper Realme C1, except the front camera it has the same technical specs plus Gorilla Glass 3 display protection.

    Pros
    • Good 19:9 screen display
    • Tri-slot: dual sim cards + microsd
    • Good battery life
    • Face unlock works
    Cons
    • Realme C1 is a cheaper option
    • Measley 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal
    • No fast charging.
    • No fingerprint sensor

Ki Cost-effective
Score
Not available
What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
