Introduction
The Poco M5S is the latest mid-range smartphone from POCO, which is set to be released in September 2022. It will be joining the existing Poco M5 series and will undoubtedly catch the attention of tech enthusiasts alike. With an OLED display, the Poco M5S features a full HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 1100 cd/m2, making it great for multimedia consumption. Along with 4 GB/ 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB/ 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, it offers users plenty of internal memory to store their favorite media content. Furthermore, its powerful MediaTek Helio G95 processor coupled with its Z-axis linear motor makes it ideal for gaming or playing resource-intensive applications.
Design & Materials
In terms of design, the Poco M5S features a plastic unibody construction with a P2i nano coating for added durability. Additionally, it has a 6.43-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 (FHD+), along with a peak brightness of 1100 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 4500000:1. This gives it great picture quality and allows for optimal outdoor visibility. Additionally, it is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 against scratches and other physical damage. Furthermore, its usable surface is at 83.1%, making it perfect for watching movies or playing games. Camera
The Poco M5S also comes with a quadruple camera setup, which consists of a 64.0Mpx main camera (Omnivision OV64B, f/1.9), a 8.0Mpx ultra-wide lens (Sony IMX355, f/2.2), a depth sensor (GalaxyCore GC02M1, 2.0Mpx, f/2.4) and a macro lens (Omnivision OV02B10, 2.0Mpx, f/2.4). This combination allows the user to take stunning photographs. On the front, it has a 13.0Mpx selfie shooter (Omnivision OV13B10, f/2.4) and it can also record 4K videos.
Connectivity
The Poco M5S supports Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM, NFC, audio jack and infrared connectivity. This allows users to easily transfer files between devices, as well as stream audio from their phones to a Bluetooth enabled speaker.
Battery
The Poco M5S has a capacity of 5000mAh and can be charged with a 33.0W fast charger. It also has reverse charging capabilities.

I bought the 8+256 GB version on Mercado Libre for 2700 Mexican pesos. And the truth is that it has excellent specifications that stand out for this price range such as the 60 Hz AMOLED Screen, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of Storage with UFS 2.2 technology, among other things. Although I don't like the Software experience having MIUI due to the abusive amount of ads in the system and the poor optimization when wanting to play. The rear cameras don't stand out much, but at least you can record at 4k at 30 FPS. What I did like was the front camera that takes very good selfies with good details. It has the MediaTek Helio G95, which offers decent power. I am impressed that it has such a good GPU, which means that you can play at much higher graphics in heavy games, but it is of no use to have such a good GPU because this processor has overheating problems if you want to take full advantage of it, when I tried PUBG New State at Low Graphics at 60 FPS was almost 45° Celsius; The same thing happened with CoD Mobile and other BattleRoyales I tried. I would say this phone is more for more casual gaming, but if you want to play demanding games you would need to get a fan to avoid overheating issues. But anyway, for this price it is one of the best phones in this range
