  • My ulefone armor 6E is not meeting the IP69K degree of protection

My ulefone armor 6E I bought at banggood.com has stopped working after use in water.

I used to take pictures in water at depth less than 1 meter. When I pulled out of the water I realized that the touchscreen was not working properly. I immediately hung up so as not to damage the phone.
I tried to turn on the phone 3h later but it didn't. I noticed that the flash light came on and didn't go out anymore.
I tried to call after another 4h, then the screen lit up but nothing appeared. Now at the end of the day the screen and flash light went out.

The waterproof lid was closed. I squeezed it twice before using it in the water. After verifying the problem, I opened the waterproof covers and found that they were not wet.
Water entered between the screen and the phone box.
I used it in water because I believed it was really waterproof.
I felt deceived because I bought this phone thinking it was fully protected.
    I am very disappointed.

  • Really great phone

I would recommend brightness ain't the best and playing music with earphone is crap but apart from that it's a great phone speaker is great only has one speaker but sound quality is really good and loud like any phone it depends on usage of applications I game everyday hard and usage of data so Obviously it drains battery but I only charge it once a day and it holds its own

    • Playing music out load

  • Bad camera and horrible software

I think the phone is pretty and its not to heavy for a anti shock phone. I have this phone for 3 months and software sometimes crush. The camera quality its not good, cold be better
For the last days i have a problem (i dont know if it is software or hardware), that the quick menu pop up randomly and it is very annoying.
The ulefone pos service dont responds to me, only send automatic messages.
I do not recomend to buy this phone. The major problem is the software and the brand give no support. The hardware is good for the price you paid, But i will change my mind if i find out that my problem is Hardware (i allready make a factory reset and a hard reset and problem maintain)

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
