We want to wholeheartedly thank everyone who has used Kimovil at some point.
Thanks to your trust and feedback, we’ve been able to bring this project—one that truly excites us—to life.
We hope to keep sharing this journey together and to create amazing things :P
In August 2014, we gathered in Igor’s storage room to shape the idea of Kimovil.
Those were intense months of work! We began the project while keeping our day jobs, programming Kimovil at nights and on weekends.

In December, we registered the Kimovil brand (finding a good name was one of the most difficult and fun challenges) and officially set up the company.

We opened our office in Bilbao and invited friends and family over to show them our new workspace, where we could finally work as a team.
That marked the end of remote work.

In 2017, we attended our first Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Technology was advancing by leaps and bounds back then, and it was a spectacle to see all the innovations presented at the event.

As part of our price-gathering work, we launched “Kiss my Ki,” an aggregator of all products from the stores we partnered with.
That project didn’t work out in the end (RIP October 2020), but it laid the foundation for a deeper redesign of Kimovil.

During the 2020 pandemic, we launched Kitele, our new comparison site, focused on TVs of all kinds of technologies.
The entire project aimed to make understanding a TV’s specifications easier, with multiple filters, and of course, to help you find the best price—our hallmark.

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’re updating our image to something more modern and casual.

We started this venture as four colleagues working in our spare time. The first few years were full of intense work and little free time.
Because we’re a multidisciplinary team, we developed both internal and external tools, allowing us to build what Kimovil is today… with over 75 million annual visits.

No one knows as much about products and spreadsheets as he does. He’s got all the processors memorized.
He can spin up a server, develop an API, or build a backend—whatever you need :P
He draws and colors. He’s responsible for designing, coding, and making the entire Kimovil experience interactive.
He’s passionate about the product and can sell you any phone he wants (but you can trust him, haha).
He’s the king of mappings and deals, ensuring Kimovil is always up to date.
