Google phones user reviews
- So many bugs. I do not recommend at any cost.
Apart from theperformanc and camera, This was one of the worst phone I had. Bugs/ issue aal over the place. Network's weak and drops every now and then. Wificoverage is trash and super inadequate. Fingerprint is the slowest and unreliable and almost useless. I used the pin instead. The desin is ugly. The software is buggy and unrefined. I was lured by the Youtube reviews, but I was dissatified and utterly disappointed. Stay away.
Pros- Camera both photo and video
- Performance
- sound
Cons- super slow charging almost 2 hours
- So many bugs, annoying
- Weak network and wifi coverage( so many issues)
- average battery life
- slippery ( was dropped and crackedfrom the corner)
- Worst fingerprint on the market: useless

It's really resistance. I drop it from 2.2m and didn't had a scratch on it, I was quite scared to be honest. I'll be more careful in the future but a big pro on that quality build.

Usually last about 45-53hrs, with 8-9hrs of SOT (I don't play games, just videos and social media), the connectivity in my case its similar to mi mix 2s, and better than the S10e. The display is meh compared to the s10e or A52, but has good enough brightness for using it in direct sunlight. The pixel features aren't as much as (for example) what samsung or xiaomi have, but they are super useful, magic eraser, the nightmode its really good for a phone, live transcription works decently, voice typing is REAALLY useful when you need it and works really well, etc.
The fingerprint works 9/10 times, but its downgrade having to tap the screen and then press the fingerprint reader, rather than just tapping the fingerprint reader and unlocking the phone.
Compared to my mix 2s (with pixel rom) and S10e, the time it takes the pixel to restart is like 1/3 of samsung, and the camera is just WAAAY better, the audio is better and a little bit louder than the S10e, the apps open WAY faster in the pixel, like you can notice it when you switch phones.
I recommend not using back ups and setting the phone up like it was your first one, I haven't experienced overheating (although I don't use a case so maybe that's why) issues, so maybe that's one of the reasons for which I have had a great experience.
IMO the vibration its kinda strong, so I usually use it to the minimum (except for notifications). The flash its okay.
I think if you use airplane mode and just connect to WiFi you can get 10-13 hours of SOT as some people get, but thats because cellular data REALLY drains the battery compared to WiFi, I don't know if Bluetooth has the same problem, but definitely not as bad as cellular data. Using airplane mode with WiFi ON, and using WiFi without airplane can make the difference between 7-8 SOT and 9-11 SOT.
In general, I recommend the phone for anyone that doesn't game and likes a clean/simple android experience with nice to haves.Pros- Battery (around 45hrs with 8.5 SOT)
- Smoothness
- Apps open quickly
- Updates
- Pixel features (magic eraser, live caption, etc.)
- Feeling
Cons- Display (compared to other options like the A52)
- Doesn't come with a charger
- Weight (feels heavy)
- Need to tap screen to use the fingerprint reader
- Sometimes the notifications take time
- Cellular data drains the battery quickly
