- No point in promising 7 years of security updates knowing that that the hardware will probably only last 1 year
Had problems with it since day one, Two different Google pixel 9a replacements within the time span of 1 month, they all performed the same. Also, 128GB will feel like 32GB's on this phone, be advised
No, I did not receive a lemon, and No, the data plan I'm on is not the cause of the connectivity issues, I had no bad experience from any other phone when it came to making phone calls or using data ❌Pixels modems in general are just that bad
Not to mention.. Google is one of the most shady companies on earth, I wouldn't recommend supporting them. Don't waste your time getting this brick made for the crackhead grandma on the street, and If you want a Google pixel that bad, you should aim for the 9 Pro XL or the 10 Pro, they're both having huge sales as of nowPros- No camera bump
- Great stereo speakers
- Good Bluetooth connectivity
- Super bright screen for outdoors (2700NITS)
- Best Photography
- Clean OS, Zero Bloatware, probably the closest experience of stock android you could get
Cons- Terrible ROM management
- Exynos 5300 modem (one of the worst modern modems)
- Weak Signal, Quick Battery Drainage, Huge Bezels.
- Overheats regularly, even with the vapor chamber.
- Lagging & stutter problems, even on simple apps
- Poor call quality (Bonus: Weak Tensor Processor)

Promise of 7 years of support and updates. Software a bit hit and miss. Disappointed with battery performance and visibility outdoors as it deems automatically without an option to put the brightness up manually or stop this due to overheating issues. Performance is great, though I think I could do better for its price. Looking at POCO phones for example. Time will tell if software patches will solve these problems or if they're hardware related.
