The Google Pixel 7 Pro and OnePlus 11: two of the most anticipated smartphones for 2022 and 2023

With the ever-growing competition in the smartphone market, it can be difficult to know which device to choose. However, two devices that are quickly gaining attention are the Google Pixel 7 Pro and OnePlus 11. Both devices offer a range of features which set them apart from the competition, offering some of the most advanced technologies currently available.

Design & Materials

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is made from the highest quality materials, with an aluminium alloy chassis and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. With a fullscreen 6.70 inch OLED display and a resolution of 1440x3120 (WQHD+), this device has one of the best screens on the market, complete with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HBM 1000 cd/m² brightness. The OnePlus 11 also makes use of an aluminium alloy chassis and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, but its 6.70 inch AMOLED display has a slightly higher resolution of 1440x3216 (WQHD+). Both devices have an impressive usable surface of 87.9% and 88.9% respectively.

Hardware

The Pixel 7 Pro is powered by Google’s Tensor 2 processor, which has a 5nm architecture. Alongside this it has 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and offers storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB UFS Storage 3.1. The AnTuTu (v9) score of 831716 is quite impressive. The OnePlus 11 is also equipped with a powerful processor; the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 (4nm) combined with 12GB, 16GB, or 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, as well as 256GB, 512GB, or 128GB UFS Storage 4.0 and UFS Storage 3.1. With an AnTuTu (v9) score of 1293410 it quite simply outperforms the Pixel 7 Pro.

Camera

The Pixel 7 Pro is equipped with a triple camera; a 50.0Mpx standard lens, a 12.0Mpx wide-angle lens and a 48.0Mpx telephoto lens. It also contains a Samsung S5K3J1 10.8Mpx selfie camera. One of the standout features here is the 5x optical zoom, with a Super Res Zoom of up to 30x. The OnePlus 11 also has a triple camera with a 50.0Mpx Sony IMX890 standard lens, a 48.0Mpx Sony IMX581 wide-angle and macro lens, and a 32.0Mpx Sony IMX709 telephoto lens.
