Infinix Hot 30 and Infinix Hot 30 Play: Two Mid-Range Smartphones with Different Features

Infinix is a brand that stands out among the mid-range segment. This Chinese manufacturer offers devices that follow the most modern trends and, of course, we can find this in its two latest models, the Infinix Hot 30 and the Infinix Hot 30 Play.

In terms of design, both phones have a similar aesthetic. They feature plastic frames with a Panda Glass on the back and an LCD IPS display with 6.78 and 6.82 inches respectively. The resolution on the Hot 30 Play is HD+ (720x1640) while the Hot 30 has a FHD+ (1080x2460) display. Both have a refresh rate of 90Hz and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The brightness level is 500 cd/m² on the Play and 580 cd/m² on the Hot 30 model.

The biggest difference between these two devices comes when we look at their hardware. The Infinix Hot 30 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 processor, accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of storage. It also features an AnTuTu score of 253433. The Infinix Hot 30 Play, on the other hand, has the MediaTek Helio G37 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Its AnTuTu score is 135,000. Both devices come with external storage options in the form of a microSD slot. They also have a side fingerprint sensor for security.

In terms of the camera, the Hot 30 has a dual camera setup with a 50Mpx main sensor and a 0.3Mpx secondary one. The selfie shooter is an 8Mpx f/2.5 sensor. On the Play model, we have a 16Mpx main camera with a 0.3Mpx depth sensor and an 8Mpx f/2.0 front camera.
