It served its purpose, its cycle, basic use

After my previous cell phone (Lumia 520) stopped having support for WhatsApp, they had to buy me this one that also had a selfie camera, I had the 1GB RAM version with 16GB of storage and it lasted me through 2020, 2021 and mid-2022. Main camera: it is useful for recording one or another video, but if you want to take photos of the classroom blackboard it is not recommended, it will not be clear. Selfie camera: suitable for virtual zoom classes, Google Meet or for video calls themselves. Battery: It lasted 4 and a half hours which I didn't like since I had classes from 8am to 2pm (Google Meet) and from 1pm to 6pm (WhatsApp). I had to charge it about 2 or 3 times a day :/ Hardware: I tried to play among us but it wasn't possible, neither did mobile legends or plants vs zombies 2 Software: I liked android go, especially youtube go that showed me how many megabytes they consumed the videos depending on the quality you chose and also Google Go that was suitable for searching and saved a lot of data. Storage: I saved a lot of PDFs in 2021 and those 16GB were not enough for me, so I increased a 32GB microSD, although for some reason I couldn't install applications on the SD memory (I didn't even leave that option in developer mode ) Audio: It had a 3.5mm jack so I could watch videos and play music with privacy.

    Pros
    • I liked Google's "Go" applications
    • Expandable storage up to 128GB
    • Comes with charger in the box
    • selfie camera
    • Double flash, which accompanies both cameras
    • Nice Alcatel logo
    Cons
    • They stole it from me

Ehh well, for the price, it performed quite well

I bought it at the end of 2019, and even today it continues to work despite the fact that it has suffered multiple blows, although it is no longer my main device since 2021. At first the battery gave up to 7 and a half hours of screen time, but currently It only gives 5 and a half hours maximum. The device is capable of moving games up to half a gig with few problems and not demanding as much. The device is clearly much more comfortable than current cell phones, as its size makes it perfect for any hand. The print never worked for me, but for the price I think it worked enough, it got me out of a lot of trouble.

    Pros
    • Durability
    • compact and comfortable
    • It had good value for money
    Cons
    • Has lags in daily use
    • I only received a single update.
    • The print never worked for me.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
