  • The Apple Masterpiece

I owned the phone when I was a child and I was very impressed by it. I don't remember it well because I wasn't as experienced then as I am now.

I still remember when I installed iOS 7 and how amazing it was.

  • iOS 5

iOS 5 contains over hundreds of new features. Here is each one by category:

Notifications: From the top of any screen, swipe down to view all your notifications in Notification Center. New notifications briefly appear on top of the screen, and notifications can even be seen on the Lock Screen without unlocking it. To the right, slide the notification card to go directly to the app.
Messages: You can send and receive unlimited texts, photos and videos with other people using iOS 5 or newer. Also, you can make group chats, track messages with receipts. When you aren’t connected to Wi-Fi, it uses cellular internet.
Reminders: This app now syncs with iCloud, iCal and outlook. And location-based reminders pop up when leaving or arriving at a location (only for iPhone 4 series)
Twitter for iOS: Tweet directly from Camera, Photos, Maps, Safari and YouTube, add locations to tweets, and view twitter accounts in the contacts app.
Camera: When double tapping the home button while device is asleep, camera opens (only for iPhone 4 series, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4). Taking a picture can be done by pressing the volume up button once.
Mail: Customize text font by using bolds, italics, or on-the-line characters.
Calendar: Year view for iPad and week view for iPhone and iPod touch.
iCloud: Supported now in Contacts, Calendar and mail.
Keyboard: More accurate autocorrection, improved input for Chinese and Japanese, new emoji keyboard to make text extra fun and expressive.

  • The iPhone 4s, was a good phone, due to the lack of good battery, and a heavy problem with WIFI, not realiable

The Camera, has aged well, but is not something spectacular. The battery is a heavy problem here, under demanding games or apps, you really need an external battery to end the day, worse if you use 3G it simply burns out. Some of those phones had a problem with WIFI, when that chip just dies and nothing can be done, aside from changing it; my had it, making it mostly a brick.

    Pros
    • Display is old, but looks nicer than most phones on a budget
    • iOS 9, at least it got lot of updates

Ki Cost-effective
Score
Not available
What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
