  • Best rugged phone I had so far, snappy, many features and good value for money.

Apart from the screen which is too dark I love nearly everything about this phone, had a Nomu S30 and a Doogee S60 before it!

Disappointed by its announced effective sensors

I am diabetic and use the “Freelink” application to read my sugar level on a sensor implanted on my skin. I use this efficient system with my previous one such as "Crosscall" with ease ... On the BV 9700, it is random to achieve this and you have to wait a few times 30 seconds to get a reading ... or NOT !! Perhaps a weakness of the sensors of the BV 9700 pro ... Otherwise the Sav replied that the BV was not reading the sugar detectors ... in 3 words ...

    Opinion

I have a phone for over a year. It is very durable, it fell from about 1.5 meters onto concrete / asphalt several times and it was fine. The phone does not take the best photos but they are also not the worst. Nothing jams, large ROW and RAM memory. Takes underwater photos in 720p (HD) quality, the phone charges quickly. I do not recommend an additional wired camera for taking photos at night, not only that you need to install a special application, it also very often does not load this camera. The biggest downside is the battery, for the first month with the Internet, bluetooth and GPS turned on, it lasted for 24 hours. After a month, despite the fact that everything is turned off, it lasts a maximum of 8 hours. I reported it to the service and they refused to replace the battery, explaining that the phone should work like that.

    run away from this brand

I bought this new phone on teknistore. In less than two months I encountered the first load problems. And about a week after the onset of this problem, it simply became impossible to recharge. So I contacted the seller who told me to manage with the manufacturer (exchange in English only). So I at my expense redirected the phone to China. The latter remained blocked at Chinese customs because the Blackview company never wanted to recover it (despite my insistent reminders for 2 months). Result, 4 months after sending the phone to China I recover the unrepaired phone. Anyway, I'm vaccinated. I write these few words to you to avoid throwing 300 € by the window.

Fluid but 1 day of autonomy

Phone pretty fluid overall, apps and games turn out well. It is heavy in hand, is better to use it with 2 hands, personally I find that the ON / OFF button is misplaced, and the customizable button (they are on both sides of the phone in the 1/3 high ), unwanted regular supports. It looks solid (shell) but not sure that the screen fits in case of a fall. Full charge fast (less than 2 hours), but at the end of the day with normal use (internet, games, and GPS) you will have between 20% and 30% battery, enough limit for a battery of more than 4800mAh. The camera has struggled to focus, and photo quality and no more. Can not assign a photo of your albums to a contact, to take a picture ??? Quite weird because a "photo selection" option is available. Like many phones, impossible to remove some builders applications without root, a shame because Android 9 without overlay.

This phone is not really waterproof. The autonomy of the phone is low compared to what is announced. Very disappointed.

2 boat trips with some splash of water and the USB-C socket has been oxidized. And at this point it seems that the guarantee will not work! I therefore declare that there is false advertising. And I pass on other disappointments: autonomy, sound, etc.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
