  • Phone has a lot of bloatware that you can't uninstall, lucly i flashed a rom and somehow the battery blew up a few days later.

Disapointed, the bloatware was very intruisive and with a new rom, the phone got a power surge.

  • probaly the worst phone in the world

Had bluboo s1 for 6 weeks now and to be honest I like a lot of people have been conned, the advertised specs are not what you get eg:- there is no proximity sensor,no ambient light sensor it came with Trojans in the free touch, and sc weather apps and because these are system apps you are stuck with them, only one of the duel cameras work and it is not tri bezel less, also if you try to contact them they ignore any communication, what could be a very good phone is let down by lies and lack of communication. I have had this phone for over 12 months now and I can confirm that it is without a shadow of doubt THE WORST PHONE IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!! what phone some of the reviews on here have I don't know but they are not the early ones, and to top it all the rear camera has now stopped working besides all the above problems so lesson learned don't buy bluboo, don't buy from Gearbest and don't buy pre sale phones!!!!!!!

  • Disappointing but worth the money

Much improvement with Microsoft Launcher, the most disappointing features are the fingerprint sensor and Bluetooth. Have to use all 5 profiles for the same thumb, still has reports lots of "not recognised". Bluetooth disconnects during calls via car radio, LE pairs with HR monitor but cannot communicate (Polar Beat indicates battery low). HR monitor works perfectly with all other devices.
Pin does not open SIM tray.

  • Charging problems

I've seen a couple of reviews on here, saying that the charging is broken. I thought I had exactly the same problem, but it turns out that the USB-C cable supplied with the phone has a connector that is about 2mm longer than standard USB-C connectors. I work for a media company, so we have many good quality cables around and, after going through about 20, the cable for the S1 is unique. So if you've tried to charge it with a cable other than the original and it won't charge, this could be your problem.

  • total rubbish, do not buy!!!

the charging port broke within first week. Gathers dust in the drawer now as no point to send it back to china. its way bigger (over 9mm thick) than advertised, far from being tri-bezelless also. ran ok most of the time, but got kinda stuck for a sec now and again. Screen got few scratches in the first 2 days, so i dont think it has a real gorilla glass either. looked ok out of box.

I suggest everyone to stick with Xiaomi, them other, smaller companies are not worth ur money.
    I just ordered Xiaomi A1.

  • Doubtful - avoid... !

Good : nice look, comfortable size, normal use
Neutral : even though supplied : the need for an headphone jack adapter
Negative : it is not an usb-c standard connector (other cables won't work ! This means trouble in practice - not only for the much needed in car/powerbank charging, but if the supplied cable breaks/is lostbreaks = no more charging at all...)
Bluetooth-connection with the car is lost evey 4 minutes ! Poor sound, poor lowlight photos, poor display colours ! The battery drains fast...

Contact with the bluboo company : zero service... they simply transfer you to some ali-express webshop...

Kimovil : I don't understand how you can give such a device 9,3 value for money and/or 63254 points in the v-score... it must be a joke, right ?

    Conclusion :
avoid, there are far much better phones available in the market for that price !
Within one month, I stopped using it...

    Cons

Ki Cost-effective
Score

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
